The first major changes to the church interior happened between 1976 and 1979, rearranging many of the traditional features. The most important of these was the creation of a function room, kitchen and toilet. The latter a very rare church feature at the time! More and greater changes were put in place during 2003/4 with the installation of a new heating system, a bigger and much better equipped kitchen and two more toilets, one for the disabled. At the front a platform was built to improve visibility and the Lord’s Table, pulpit, font and lectern were replaced by purpose made, movable reading desk, table and font. |

The greatest change, however, was made by the removal of the oak pews and their replacement by upholstered chairs much to the satisfaction and comfort of church members! Carpet was laid and the pillars and walls painted in lighter, more cheerful colours. These latest changes have made the church building much more versatile. |
