HMI Ofsted
– HOLY TRINITY INFANT SCHOOL Members of the congregation will be pleased to hear that HMI Ofsted described the school as “a happy and successful small school that has maintained and further improved a good quality of education and care over several years.” They also noted that “Children enter the school with skills that are slightly above average for their age.  Most are happy and confident young learners who communicate well with others and settle quickly into school. Our warmest congratulations go to Mrs Julie Rischer the Head Teacher, Nigel Ladbury (chair of Governors) and Judith Robbins, Foundation Governor. Copies of the report can be found on the Ofsted website.

Christmas Stamps - This Christmas the PO are to issue both secular stamps and Religious
stamps but like last year, you have to stipulate if you want religious !! Apparently each PO has been asked to send in to HQ totals for each (possibly to say there is no demand for the latter !) We have been asked to make everyone we know aware of this and that the Christians amongst us should ask for religious stamps in order to keep Jesus at the centre of the event.

The LBB Party! –
Friday 31st October.   Could members of the congregation please pray for this event - that many children will want to come (as an alternative to Halloween events around the town), that all involved will be protected, and that the Holy Spirit will be present so that the children and helpers are really aware of the Lord's presence?   Thank you.

Individual grants of up to £300 are available to anyone of any age to help towards the cost of travel or accommodation.  Applicants would be expected to raise at least an equivalent amount themselves. If you would like to apply please fill in an application form and give it to Ian Baird-Smith via the pigeon holes or church office.

A VERY BIG THANKYOU
to all those who helped in any way with the cleaning of the kitchen, toddler toys and the church over the last couple of weeks.  Everyone who volunteered worked extremely hard and the benefits can clearly be seen.
