-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HMI Ofsted – HOLY TRINITY INFANT SCHOOL Members of the congregation will be pleased to hear that HMI Ofsted described the school as “a happy and successful small school that has maintained and further improved a good quality of education and care over several years.” They also noted that “Children enter the school with skills that are slightly above average for their age. Most are happy and confident young learners who communicate well with others and settle quickly into school. Our warmest congratulations go to Mrs Julie Rischer the Head Teacher, Nigel Ladbury (chair of Governors) and Judith Robbins, Foundation Governor. 21st Century Parent - This is an 8 week DVD based course by Care for the Family, designed to give parents the opportunity to share their experiences, learn from each other and discover some principles of parenting. Following the success of this course last term, this is being run again on a Monday morning, beginning September. There will be a creche available, however we would welcome parents with children of any age. For more information or to reserve a place please contact the church office.
The Holy Trinity Mission Fund has been set up to offer some financial help to members of Trinity who want to take part in mission work. Individual grants of up to £300 are available to anyone of any age to help towards the cost of travel or accommodation. Applicants would be expected to raise at least an equivalent amount themselves. If you would like to apply please fill in an application form and give it to Ian Baird-Smith via the pigeon holes or church office.
